LC4, defined by its creators as the true "resting machine". Designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand and subsequently produced by Cassina, it is considered one of the most important design icons of the 20th century. In this elegant version, it is offered with sophisticated cognac leather upholstery, enhancing the essential lines of the design and highlighting its timeless character.

The LC4 originated from the idea of creating a seat perfectly adaptable to the human body, capable of naturally following different resting positions. The chromed steel tubular structure, supported by an independent base, allows the cradle to slide and recline freely, offering exceptional comfort. The balance between ergonomic research, technical innovation, and formal purity makes this design one of the greatest examples of modern rationalism.

Conditions

The chaise longue is in excellent overall condition. The steel structure has been recently cleaned and polished and retains its solidity. The elastic straps are still perfectly taut, ensuring the correct comfort of the seat. The brown leather mattress is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use consistent with its age; it has also been cleaned, sanitized, and treated with professional products to preserve its softness and finish. Authenticity is guaranteed by Le Corbusier's signature and the identification code stamped on the frame.
