Warren Platner
Warren Platner was one of the leading figures in post-World War II American design. An architect and designer, he combined elegance and technical experimentation, becoming famous for his curved steel wire structures that transformed everyday objects into true sculptures.
In the 1960s he developed the famous Platner collection for Knoll , in which hundreds of thin metal rods welded together create light, sophisticated and immediately recognizable shapes.
His work perfectly represents the intersection of architecture, design, and art, creating iconic pieces that still embody modernist elegance today.
