Luciano Bertoncini

During his career, Bertoncini met Joe Colombo, a renowned designer, who, as art director for the Elco company, decided to include the Gronda coat stand, which won second prize at the Abet Print competition in 1971, in his catalog. He opened his own studio in Treviso and at the same time continued to collaborate with various companies, including Bellato, for which he designed the Onda bed, shortlisted for the Compasso d'Oro in 1964, and Aprilia, for which he designed the Tuareg Wind motorcycle in 1985.
