Carlo De Carli
Italian architect, designer, and architectural theorist, one of the leading figures in modern architecture, industrial design, and its teaching.
He designed numerous pieces of furniture that went into production with Cassina (the 683 Chair won the first Compasso d'Oro in 1954), Tecno (the Balestra Chair won the Grand Prize at the 11th Triennale in 1957), Sormani, Longhi, Cinova, and various other artisan and industrial companies.
