We present at auction the famous Lobby Chair ES 108, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Designed in 1960 to furnish the prestigious Time-Life Building in New York, this armchair represents one of the most elegant interpretations of the idea of comfort developed by the famous American design duo.

The Lobby Chair echoes the constructive principles of the famous Lounge Chair, reinterpreting them in a seat with more compact proportions and a strong architectural character. The polished cast aluminum frame supports three distinct upholstered cushions covered in black leather, offering exceptional comfort and refined aesthetics. The swivel base with height adjustment and tilt mechanism completes a project designed to combine ergonomics, functionality, and timeless elegance.

Condition

The armchair is in excellent overall condition. The aluminum frame maintains excellent stability and has been recently cleaned and polished. The black leather upholstery of the seat, backrest, and armrests is in excellent condition, free from obvious signs of wear.
