Dodo (K10), designed in 2000 by Toshiyuki Kita for Cassina. An expression of innovative and highly ergonomic design, Dodo is a seat designed to adapt to various body needs, combining technology, comfort, and essential aesthetics. In this elegant version, it is offered with refined black velvet upholstery, which enhances its soft and contemporary forms.

Designed as a dynamic seating option, the Dodo stands out for its independently adjustable backrest and footrest, allowing for easy transition from a conversation position to a fully reclined configuration. Thanks to its assisted mechanisms and nickel-plated steel swivel base, the armchair can extend to approximately 180 cm, transforming into a comfortable chaise longue. The steel structure and high-density padding ensure a high level of comfort and durability.

Conditions

The armchair is in excellent overall condition. Coming from a second home, it has been used very little and carefully preserved. The black velvet upholstery is in excellent condition, free from tears, stains, or significant wear, and has recently been professionally cleaned and sanitized. The backrest and footrest adjustment mechanisms are perfectly functional, smooth, and precise. The nickel-plated steel swivel base is sturdy and well-preserved.
