Design and History

Born in 1970 from the collaboration between Hans Hopfer and Roche Bobois, the project took shape from the concept of "living at floor level."

Originally called "Lounge," the model soon transformed into the famous Mah Jong, inspired by the traditional Chinese game: a modular structure composed of independent elements, freely combinable to create ever-new configurations.

The result is a dynamic and flexible system, capable of adapting to every living need, definitively breaking the molds of the traditional sofa.
